Store font design

 

This project is intended to design a window display for the Tiffany & Co. Merchandising Store. The idea is inspired by Tiffany's classic key pendants. The implied meaning behind Tiffany's key pendants is that when you give your loved ones a Tiffany Key as a gift, you have given them the "key" to unlock your heart. I incorporated elements including bird cages, giant wall clock, and white birds in the store front display design to expand this romantic idea. For the giant wall clock with keys as clock hands, clock indicates time, and with Tiffany's Keys as the clock hands, it simply hints that, "with Tiffany's Keys, you now have control of love for an enteral time...". White bird cages with key pendants inside means that by holding a Tiffany Key, you cannot escape my love any more. Lastly, white birds simply signifies love and freedom. The entire design process included: initial brainstorming, idea sketching, 3D rendering in Sketch-up, and actual model building. The model is built all by hand, using methods such as laser cutting, spray painting, sewing, and glueing.
